Our assignment was to do a book cover illustration that had to be a famous landmark with something happening to it.
I decided to go with the Great Wall of China as the spine of a Chinese dragon. After all, the Great Wall itself is known as "The Stone Dragon". I thought a Chinese/Sumi-e brush painting style would suit the theme  . Inspired by several paintings and playing way too much Okami xDThe characters on the top just read "Great Wall of China" and "Dragon" I had a lot of fun with this one :3 |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
